Due to the fact that this is a film about an (published here) asylum, it has a budget that is roughly equivalent to that of a large kid's meal and makes economical use of its resources by concentrating on a small number of human characters and keeping the film's A-list actors in a single location so that they can shoot all of their scenes during a single lunch break. But, let's not forget that this is an kaiju movie, and that's how they go. So maybe The Asylum won’t do such a terrible job with it?
